Starting off strong in the Big Ten!
Washington kicks off its inaugural season in the Big Ten with all fall teams making post-season play — the first time since 2019.
Cross Country
The UW Women’s Cross-Country team placed 13th at the NCAA Championships, while the Men’s Team ran to a 16th-place finish. It’s the fifth time in the past six years that both teams placed in the Top-20 at nationals.
Football
In Coach Fisch’s first season, Husky Football faced a tough slate of Big Ten opponents. A marquee win over No. 10-ranked Michigan and a final home win against UCLA enabled the Huskies to successfully extend their home win streak to 20 consecutive games, clinching bowl eligibility.
Volleyball
In Coach Gabriel’s second year leading Washington Volleyball, the Huskies made their 28th all-time appearance in the NCAA Tournament, falling in the first round to Loyola Marymount.
Women's Soccer
Husky Women’s Soccer defeated No. 25-ranked Utah State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The Huskies then gave No. 2-ranked Mississippi State all it could handle on its home turf in the second round, losing a tight 1-0 match and closing the season at 10-7-4.
Men's Soccer
In the first round of the NCAA Tournament against Seattle University, Husky Men’s Soccer advanced on penalty kicks but fell in the second round to SMU. UW concluded the season with an overall record of 8-6-7 and finished fourth in its first Big Ten season with a record of 4-3-3.
